Built around one cut of water.
East Pass Excursions is a small, locally owned charter outfit with a simple idea: launch from the best spot on the coast, keep every trip private, and match you to the right boat for the day you want.
The front door to the whole coast.
The East Pass is the deep-water cut where Choctawhatchee Bay meets the Gulf, between Destin and Okaloosa Island. It is the way to Crab Island, the nearshore reefs, and the clear water the Emerald Coast is known for. It is also where our boats run from.
- Straight to the sandbar. Crab Island sits just inside the pass, so you are in the clear water not long after leaving the dock.
- Easy Gulf access. The same cut gets our fishing boats to nearshore reefs and wrecks without a long offshore haul.
- Locals who know the water. We run this pass regularly, so we know where it is calm, where the fish hold, and where to park for a good afternoon.
Small crew, high standards.
We'd rather run a handful of trips well than a dozen in a hurry. Here's what that looks like.
USCG-licensed captains
Every trip runs with a licensed captain who knows this stretch of water cold — and puts safety first, always.
Locals, not a call center
We live and launch in the East Pass. When you call, you get someone who was on the water this morning.
Always fully private
Your captain, your boat, only your people. No shared decks, no strangers, no packed-tour feeling.
